WIRE COUTURE

...live the full life of the mind, exhilarated by new ideas, intoxicated by the romance of the unusual...
- Ernest Hemingway -

...hello everyone...today I'm sharing with you an ATC I have made using the movers & shapers mini dress form...I decided to dress this mini form in wired couture, I hope you like it...

...I took a plain white ATC & added a drop of salty ocean distress ink & edged it in walnut...

...into the steampunk embossing folder then crackled with rock candy...

...the mini form had a light dusting of pumice stone, then a heavier second coat around the edges...

...a wired gown nipped at the waist & a wooden heart in barn door...

...I had fun with this little ATC & mini dress form...Armani eat your heart out, wire is the new black!...

...thank you for dropping by today, I hope you like what you've seen...

  3. Really love this Mel. I don't know how you do it but your designs look amazing yet they don't feel cluttered - sometimes I throw everything at mine and don't know when to stop!! I love how you use wire and the contrast between the feminine form and the wire dress creates such a special image. The little heart sitting inside is wonderful. Sorry to gush but it's amazing!

  17. I do love this little piece of art. Thanks for your visit to my Tim tag. If I don't get it done as soon as it is issued then it gets on the back burner so I have learned to schedule the time to do it on the day of creation! Well I try...life happens some times. Oh and congrats on the DT position I see in a past post.
