...hello everyone today I'm sharing with you my first Design Team piece for It's Crafting Time...the theme for this week is FACES, each day on the Crafting Time Blog you will see a new creation from different members of the team so please be sure to pop back and see what the talented team have created for your inspiration and your comments will be most welcome...you can find the Blog here: http://itscraftingtime.blogspot.co.uk/
...anyway without further ado here is my piece, I hope you like it...
...a plain manilla tag was given a coating of Squeezed Lemonade distress ink then an over layer of Mowed Lawn...the amazing image by La Blanche was next in Timber Brown Stazon Ink... then into the Steampunk parts embossing folder...
...for added dimension I put a piece of acetate in the same folder, cut out the clock face and placed directly over the same point on the tag & added some hands...
...a pair of luscious red lips and accents of silver...
...also a couple of random splodges in Walnut...
...well there she is, I'm really pleased with the finished result...most of the products used can be purched from It's Crafting Time's online shop here: http://itscraftingtime.blogspot.co.uk/ please note not all products are shown so dont hesitate to give Helen or Nina a call if you can't see what you require...

Wonderful tag Mel! Love how the face floats - very ethereal! Also, I really like the way you've picked out one of the clocks with acetate - so clever and much quicker than good old glossy accents!! Beautiful colour combination. You really are the Queen of Tags (and hearts too of course!).

So Mel, your first tag and you have clearly pulled out all the stops on this one! Tis a feast for the eyes! I am going to 'borrow' your idea of adding the acetate layer as it works so well. Sometimes adding random embossed pieces of acetate doesn't work on flat projects - this will always work. You are a genius. Hugs, Buttons x
