POM POM GARLAND

...those who don’t believe in magic will never find it’’ ✨-Roald Dahl...

...hi there, I know, it's been a while...

...well today I have a fun little project to share with you...

...its a quick and very simple step by step Pom Pon Garland that cost just £2 to make! yes £2 and we all like those projects don't we 😁 especially with half term just around the corner, this is one the kids can create too...

...I purchased a bag of fun tinsel Pom Poms from Flying Tiger Copenhagen for just £2 and you get lots of them in the bag in various sizes and certainly enough to complete your project...

...fun bright sparkly coloured pom poms in small medium and large..

...start by threading a tapestry needle with some thread of your choice (I had some left over plain wrapping string from Christmas) but any pretty string that fits through the needle eye will do...

...the threading needle I used is a tapestry needle, it has a larger eye which is perfect for string and has a relatively blunt end so would be suitable for children age 6 upwards with supervision...

...cut the string of your choice to the length that you would like your garland to be...then thread your needle and start adding all your pom poms, varying the sizes as you go and choose the distance between the pom poms to your taste..when finished you should have something similar to below....

...the whole project took just 30 minutes to complete and at £2 is far cheaper than purchasing a completed one.. the photo below took one bag of pom poms to complete...

...ingredients needed below...

...have fun creating this fun and bright Pom Pom Garland...

...thank you for dropping by...
