BIRTHDAY BOY

...life is a great big canvas & you should throw all the paint you can on it...
-Danny Kaye-

...today I'm sharing with you a card that I've made for my Son-in-Law...
...I dont usually make cards for boys/men purely because I never really know what to do and maybe because most of my little embellies are on the girlie side...anyhow my dear friend May had Die cut some cogs for me and I found some washers...

...the background paper is from Tim's Idealology 12-12 pack...I edged it with walnut DI added a few splodges of black ink and put one side through the big shot with the Spotty Texture Fade...

...the spots give a cool dimension to the paper...

...I added the little ruler as darren is a Carpenter...

...I got brave & used the crackle glaze again, much finer crackles this time...

...well thats my 1st effort at at a boy's card, well man's card he is 31 after all...I will be entering this card for The Artistic Stamper Challenge 'Spots & Stripes...

...and here is my very 1st ATC...

...if your a woyww follower and visited my desk you will of seen the loVely pocket of goodies Lynn sent me...this ATC has been made entirely with the ingredients inside...

...thankyou so much Lynn, hope you like what I've put together with your loVely embellishments...
