...hello everyone, I hope this day finds you all in fine fettle :) ...
...I have been very absent this past week, from posting, through to visiting the wonderful blogs I follow...some of you may know it was my darling Daughters Birthday last Friday (14th) well on that day her own baby decided to make her entrance into the world!...sadly this was not a smooth journey and Mother & Baby got very poorly, a difficult time for everyone least not Danielle...but the resiliance of the human body made this a short journey for us all...I have now brought my two angels home (as you know my daughter, her hubby & their 3 bengal cats all moved in with me 3months ago when their house purchase fell through)...
...here is a piccy of me with my Granddaughter...
...she is named after her Great Grandmother Emmie and weighed in at 9lb 6oz...
...I hope to start checking in with you all again this week as life is getting back on an even keel...life is good...

I adore the post name. It really caught my eye, too.
ReplyDeleteI swear, you look more like the MOTHER than the grandmother. You are gorgeous. I suspect you feel a lot better than the mom, though. And of course, Emmie is a real "keeper."
I'm wishing Danielle a safe and speedy recovery, and a happy belated birthday. Glad to read things are getting back on track, too. Have a great rest of the weekend.
Congratulations to you Mel and to family. this is a beautiful pic and love the name. Hope mum is doing ok and well done on the new addition

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new role in life!
Sorry things didn't go well at the start but congratulations to your daughter & her husband on the birth of such a beautiful little girl with a gorgeous name.
ReplyDeleteYou look as proud as punch!
Many congratulations to all - glad things have turned out well for your daughter - I can well imagine that she had trouble parting with Emmie - my 2nd was 9lb 8oz and I thought he would never make an appearance - I was threatened with forceps - but didn't need them in the end... congrats also at her arriving on her mummy's birthday. My first born was born on my birthday - he was late and it happened naturally - it was meant to be! Each generation of my family (females) have had a baby on their own birthday. Weird huh?
ReplyDeleteYou don't look old enough to be a nana - looking well on it! She's adorable and has a lovely name too. Well done to all.
