BLUEPRINT SNOWFLAKE

...continuous effort, not strength or intellegence, is the key to unlocking our potential...
- WinstonChurchill -

...hello everyone thought I'd share with you a quick festive tag, made with the super gorgeous Stampers Anonymous Christamas Blueprint set, hope you like it...

...a plain manilla tag was brushed all over with snowcap paint dabber and heat set, then I put the length of the tag in a Christmas embossing folder just capturing one line of festive words...

...loVe the way these words are punched into the tag...

...I used black ink on the snowflake stamp and overlaid it with sparkly silver...

...there are four stamps in this set and they are all gorgeously festive, I loVe this set...

...these two flakes were cut from the on the edge snowflake Die in shimmering gold card, coated in snowcap and given a good dollop of stardust stickles and attached with a staple, some candy cane bakers twine and a tiny bell to finish off with and there she is :) ...

...all my presents this year will be dressed in the Christmas blueprint tags...
...thank you for dropping by today...

  1. Ohhh, your presents are going to look lovely.
Your tag is stunning...overstamping with the silver was a fabulous idea. It is really eyecatching and your unopened pressies will be a hit! Think how wonderful they are gong to look under the tree!

I do my Mum and my sister's gifts in matching papers and tags...all hand done. Each year I plan it out ahead. Last year they were in black boxes wrapped with silver and silver and white tags. Heavy on the silver.

This year I am sadly behind...usually I have theirs all planned out! I am toying with the idea of horse and foxes stamped on kraft paper (they are the equestrians and have their houses decorated with hounds, foxes and horses)...
Just can't seem to come up with an idea for the tags.
You've given me a great idea about embossing the words into the tag.Off to look thru my embossing folders to see just what I have!

  22. Very pretty, Mel. I love the natural look. Last year all my gifts were wrapped in brown paper & put in mini kraft lunch bags stamped simply with white snowflakes & tied with string. No one wanted to open them!

  24. Mel you do really fabulous tags I love them all. It's the combination of lovely warm colours, a clean professional look, and always the most gorgeous accented piece of colour. The bakers twine and the bell just finish it off so well. It's beautiful and full of shabby chic gorgeousness. Michelle x

  26. Hi Mel, the embossing and the picket fence white wash make the tag look stunning but the addition of the sparkly snowflakes really set the tag off beautifully. This is my favourite Christmas stamp set this year although not sure what to do with the Christmas tree yet..... Anne x
