...firstly I'd like to say thankyou to my new followers and also my faithful's, it means a lot to me that you like my humble little blog enough to keep coming back and saying hello...xxx

...right then another wild week has passed us by with our very British weather keeping us all on our toes!...and my loVely son-in-law has been making me a craft desk which i'm sooo excited about, hopefully it'll be finished by next woyww so I can show you...I've been using an antique wash stand & the kitchen table neither of which are really suitable...anyways the desks/work stations from across the globe are right here for you to take a peek at through our loVely host Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk take a look, you'll be impressed! here's mine to start with...


...i've got a couple of things i'm working on which involve flowers...and i've made some beaded hearts...


...these are quick & simple to make & great for adding to projects & my favourite...gift wrapping...

  5. Love those hearts and beads - now there is a craft that I am strongly resisting as I know that it would be s slippery slope, so many beads twinkling and glistening, so little time, you can tell it would become an addiction, so I daren't go there!!

  16. It's certainly been wild and wonderful weather hasn't it and I don't think much of today either. It's chucking it down here this morning so no gardening for me today!!

    thanks for the visit - wow, isn't the weather aweful? I'm excited for you at the prospect of you having a full proper grown up desk... now get cracking that whip to ensure it is finished sometime soon.

    I love those flowers you have done - are they done by using a dies or machine cut? Either way, they layer up really well. Those beaded hearts are really sweet too.

  32. Oh I know it's not huge, but I like th wides of a wash stand for a desk...my word, we WOYWWers do use an assortment of surfaces! Love your beaded hearts, what a neat idea for a pressie embellies too - classy.
