HEART

...its better do something imperfectly than to do nothing flawlessly...
-Robert Schuller-

...today I'm sharing with you a Tag I've made for Simon says Stamp and Show 'your favourite word'......some of you may be aware that I'm slightly obsessed by hearts, my home is full of them and I always try & include one when I give a gift...

...the base for this Tag is Tim Holtz Idealology paper which I lightly covered with Walnut Distress Ink, after drying I used the 'flick' technique to gain some ageing...

...good old bubblewrap got a splash of Barn Door then was laid corner to corner...

...I took a wooden primative heart inked it with Barn Door then gave it a thick coating of Crackle Glaze, then laid it upon a tattered piece of linen which was then hot glued upon a torn piece of corrugated card that had been multi-inked with Black Soot, Walnut, Pumise Stone & Barn Door & a smidge of Rock Candy Stickles...

...the hanger is a strip of muslin washed with a smidge of Barn door & Pumice Stone & a few strands of stredded burlap...

...sorry for the heavy picture load but I'm chuffed how this has turned out, Crackle Glaze and me arn't usually the best of friends & there is so much to learn about Inks but i'm growing...

...thankyou for stopping by today...
