TATTERED WINGS

...today I'd like to share with you a simple card...

...with the most glorious day we've been given today, all God's winged creatures seem to of sprung into action... they have inspired me...

...the sun, the warmth, and the stillness have left the flight path in the garden humming with activity... a huge Dragonfly darts back and forth across the pond...such an amazing creature with fine gossamer wings...

...the background paper is Tim Holtz Idea-Ology-Kraft Resist...

...the body of my dragonfly is from my collection of driftwood...

...the wings were pinched together and secured with fine black wire with the ends left long for the antenna...

...for the wings i used a paper full of silken strands which if you pull it about enough gives you that tattered look...

...thankyou for dropping by today...
