HOLIDAY WREATH

...learning never exhusts the mind...
- Leonardo Da Vinci -

...hello everyone, today I'm sharing with you a tag I have made for one of my super creative blog buddies...

...weathered wood coats a plain manilla tag with a touch a spritz & flick to add aging, the tag was embossed in the riveted metal folder with the center left clear...

...snowcap dabber is brushed over the entire tag to give the effect of galvanised metal...

...the holiday wreath was cut from silver metal card and embossed in the diamond plate folder...

...the wreath was sprinkled with white frantage embossing powder and heated, loVe this stuff it gives great texture...

...I added some rustic bells and candy cane bakers twine to the center bow...

...the sizzix embossing folders plus yummy papers (green bow above) and a spectacular tag from his collection of jaw droppers (from posting: Something a Little Colourful) landed in my postbox yesterday...our loVely blog buddy Mark of http://speshink.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/something-little-colourful.html
surprised me with this package of candy...thank you so so much Mark, I'm blown away by your kindness this tag made with the folders is for you...
...thank you for dropping by today...

  35. It's well and truly into Christmas crafting time and I am still not upstairs where I need to be to do much of anything .....sigh..... maybe I'll just begin early for next year when I do get back into my proper surroundings .. or just being playing at Christmas stuff all year 'round...why not?

  36. My favourite out of today's views! I love how you've created the colour on the background - it's so effective. The wreath is totally gorgeous. Whenever you use a die that I've looked at but dismissed, I see what it's possibilities are. You are very talented and so creative.
