...hello everyone...today I'm sharing with you a Tag I have made using the Steampunk Set Embossing Folder...
...I took a plain manilla tag, added some old paper distress ink, then some inked texture randomly added till the whole tag was covered, a few walnut splats & a whisper of white emulsion...
...a hand cut primitive heart in metal card, embossed with steampunk cogs...
...added cogs, metal buttons, a skattering of melted powders in old gold & aged copper...
...wrapped in wire with added ideaology...
... a distressed steampunk embossed heart, I hope you like it...
...I'm glad your here, thank you for dropping by...

That truly is one gorgeous background and the heart is to die for - you are quickly becoming a 'queen of hearts'! Hugs, Buttons x
ReplyDeleteWow, the melting powders really add an extra dimension to the embossed metal paper... fabulous stuff! The tag as a whole is just wonderful - that background is gorgeous, and I love that the splats are a kind of organic echo of the gears - genius! Wire-wrapping is a terrific touch...

ReplyDeleteI think I like this one the best since I have bene following you. It just has such a nice feel to it.
ReplyDeleteGreat tag.
By the way, when I saw your metal tag with the words and numbers, I remembered that i had thrown a metal tag from some scrapbook flower bits, into the garbage. I dug it out to see what words were on it...."desert flowers".
It is now filed away in my theme drawer "garden" to be eventually used on a scrapbook layout of the year Death Valley bloomed in abundance...first time in over 75 years.
So thanks for inspiring me to look again!
