BINGO

...creativity takes courage...
- Henri Matisse -

...hello everyone...today I'm sharing with you a Tag I've made using one of Tim Holtz mini texture fades embossing folders...these mini folders are great & are designed especially with ATC's in mind...

...I've also been experimenting some what, trying to get that old rusting plate look...I'm kinda happy for my first go, anyways see what you think, here it is...

...I covered the tag with frayed burlap distress ink, then randomly stamped around the edges with my brand new first ever Tim Holtz stamp set (named Joyful Song) ...

...this bingo ticket is glassine paper, I scrunchled up the edges, then put in the embossing folder, randondomly applied opaque embossing powder, then proceeded to rub in brown, green & black chalk...

...I was hoping to achieve various stages of patina, a few more goes & I'll be there, for the letters I used a bit of gold rub...

...I made a small gnarly flower from stamped tissue paper, added some wire fronds and a wee wooden heart...

...I've added the words 'take a chance on me'...

...thankyou for for stopping by, I hope you've had a wonderful day...

  4. Hi Mel, you have done an absolutely brilliant job on this tag. I would not have thought to use chalks either but the effect is amazing. I hope you are entering this into Simon Says Blog Challenge as the theme this time is depths of distress and this certainly qualifies on that front (in my humble opinion). Well done on getting some Tim stamps, I only have two myself and one of those only because I won them. Crafty hugs, Anne x
