YOUR FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE

...everything has beauty but not everyone see's it...
-confucious-

...today I'm sharing with you an ATC...
...after making my first one the other day and loosing my fear of it's size I think I may become addicted to these little fella's...

...since learning new inky techniques from our amazing Mr Tim Holtz all I want to do is Spritz & Flick...so I covered the base of my ATC with a coating of Walnut DI, once heat dried I flicked water droplets & heat dried them too, I loVe this technique it gives a cool shabby vintage vibe...

...this cute Texture Faded butterfly was lightly dusted with Frayed Burlap DI & set upon crumpled brown paper generously splashed with Tattered Angels Meadow...

...some corrugated card & clear sequins add extra dimention...

...I'm entering this little fella into The Stampman Challenge 'Your Favourite technique'...

...thankyou for stopping by today...

  8. This ATC is incredible and gorgeous. It's hard to believe that not too long ago you had never made one of these. The small size got me, too, but after making about two dozen or so, I finally started to appreciate them for their collage abilities. Of course, yours is beyond gorgeous, with the use of corrugated cardboard, since recycling is one of the things I really love.

BTW, I really liked what Lynn sent you (from previous post) and you put together. Your hand sewing is wonderful, something I simply can't do!

  17. Hi Mel, your ATC is absolutely stunning, I looove the butterfly - gorgeous. I made my first ATC yesterday but after seeing yours, it is back to the drawing board for me! I thought it would be difficult to work in such a small area but it is actually quite fun. Thank you for your wonderful comment on my blog. Anne x
