PRETTY LITTLE PRINTS part 2

...let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love, it will not lead you astray...
- Rumi -

...hello everyone...today I'm sharing with you the second part of my DT makes for Craft Work Cards, first up is a Tag...

...I took a palin manilla Tag & covered it with Walnut Distress Ink, the mini frame is a part of a nesting set that comes with this months kit, I used Old Paper DI with Walnut around the edges...

...the flowers are a mixture of Tattered Florals & Sizzix...

...this gorgeous butterfly is the Fanciful Flight Die, I added a touch of Stardust Stickles to the wings, the stamp is Build a Flower from CWC ...

...I got inspiration for this second piece from Tammy Tutterow...

...again the frame is part of a nesting set within the kit, I gave an overall coating of Old Paper to the card which was spritzed, the frame was coated in Frayed Burlap then the embossed butterflies had a touching of Mowed Lawn the same for the Tag which has embossed CWC flowers which I water coloured, I made two flaps from the papers which are held together with a strip of dyed muslin that I stamped with CWC flowers...

...I used the Candi to hide the staples on the flaps...

...so there you have a tag within a card...I hope you like what I've made with this loVely Project Kit...it's available to buy now priced at £15 click below...

...thank you for stopping by today , I'm glad your here...

  24. Oh Mel, I've been dying to get in and see these since you sneek peeked them and I have been on the look out, I usually pop in to see you daily if I can even if only time for a lurk!! Then got side - tracked with work. And now I've come up for air and have updated my blog, I'm off visiting and saved you till last. What a lovely surprise, the sneeks in 'full frontal' Simply Stunning and if I really had to pick a fav and only by a gnats hair it would be the door card.

  25. What a superb post Mel, I love the tag, and the tag within a card, genius idea! That is a very pretty cwc flower on your second tag, and you've coloured them so wonderfully. I really like your grungy ribbon to tie down the flaps as well. It's all so lovely. Thanks so much for showing us. Michelle x

  26. Love the flowers, the embossing and all the fabric you've used in these wonderful creations - how clever you are!
Thanks so much for the tip about the washer - I would never have thought of that all by myself!! My croppy thingy is certainly not all singing and dancing but sadly I fear that's more to do with the operator than the machine!
Hope you don't mind but I may resort to using the odd washer myself but I shall give you credit of course!
