...simplicity is the ultimate sophistication...
- Leonardo Da Vinci -

...well what an absolute fabby Jubilee Weekend it's been, it didn't matter about the rain it was just so loVely to see our Queen surrounded by her family & her extended family ie US, from start to finish just magnificent...

...anyways back to business, it's time for a good old crafty snoop, if you'd like to join in follow the link to the loVely Julia's blog http://stamping-ground.co.uk/ and see what all the fuss is about, go on you know you want to...before you go though take a peek at mine...

...I've just finished a card for our monthly swap over at May's & I'm about to start another, so not much going on...my SIL made me the little wooden box for my inks so was well chuffed when he gave me that, makes my space a little neater...right my loVelies I'm off for a nose...have a wonderful day & thank you so much for stopping by me, your comments mean a lot & the fact you take the time to follow my humble little blog is very much appreciated...

  4. What a great way to keep your inks. I don't have mine within easy reach. In fact, nothing is within easy reach (grin).

I really enjoyed the Jubilee this weekend. It was such a fun time to see my ancestors celebrations. Now I can't wait for the Olympics!

  5. Now making your desk neater takes all the fun out of it, I mean if it's easy to find, then it's not valuable! lol waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

  11. It looks like we'll have to keep a close eye on your desk ~ there are things afoot!
How great to have such a talented SiL to help organise your space.

I've been so proud to watch all the jubilee celebrations here in Oz and haven't heard anything other than sheer delight from everyone as to how magnificent it was to watch. No-one does pomp and pageantry as well as the Brits!
Thanks for visiting my space earlier...have fun with WOYWW ~ Neesie #10

  33. Happy WOYWW! The pin cushion is cute -- perhaps that is what the other bits of fabric are for? Yes, in answer to your comment, it is making me a little crazy having the room taken apart, but if I ever wanted to get rid of the very faded, dated wallpaper and the in-need-of-replacing carpet, I had to get brave. :) ~ Laura #101 (Thanks for popping over for a visit to my blog already. )

  40. Great little box, Mel! Nice when family members make things for you, isn't it. My hubby has done such a lot to help me fix up my ARTHaven how I want it - no wonder he runs for the hills whenever I suggest I might change anything!!!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. Glad you like my latest zentangle art! Just off to upload the post about it, so you can see the fishy in more detail!

  41. The Jubilee sounds wonderful, Mel--we saw bits of it on TV over here, and even in the rain, everyone looked as if they were having a grand time!

My desk is in after-project condition, too, but the camera isn't home at the moment, so no WOYWW this week for me!

    :)

  44. Your desk is so neat, like your little ink box. I've been loving the Jubilee. I can't believe you have to set your heat down to 18 deg, which to me is freezing. We should be 5 deg warmer at this time of year, so we were all caught out. It is currently 18.8 in here and I have long sleeves, a jumper and a jacket and still shivering. Hope your summer arrives soon.
    Have a great week.

  50. That's a nice box, what a thoughtful gift. Organization is always a good thing (if not an elusive thing). I chuckled at the denim on your desk, I had that the other, cutting denim flowers for a swap. Now I have left over denim. I'll have to figure out what else in my life needs denim!
