WOYWW 152

...never never never give up...
-Winston Churchill-

...hello my fellow crafters and allround inkers...after missing out last week it'll be great to see what you've all been up to...and if your interested in seeing what a world of crafters looks like hop on over to Julia's http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ and take a peek for yourself...but before you go here is my new work desk...

...my loVely son-in-law put this together for me for a total cost of materials £15!..yep amazing...the top is scaffolding planks and I love this rustic look & no more shifting from the dining table  every time we need to eat...  :)

...and here she is fully loaded up ready for use...

...and look at what arrived yesterday via Mr Postie...

...and this lot of loVelies were inside!...

...Lynn over at http://oneimadeearliertoday.blogspot.co.uk/ kindly sent me this pocket of yummy goodies all perfect for making an ATC, which I hasten to add I've never done before and looking at the small piece's of card it may be a daunting task indeed!...check out Lynn's blog and see all her amazing designs...
...thankyou Lynn for your generous heart...

  36. Hi Mel
What a fab new workspace you have. I'm on my dining table and it's so annoying having to shift everything at meal times isn't it? I wonder how much lap trays cost, haha.
Please look here http://www.flickr.com/photos/65345361@N02/6973391420/in/photostream at my own pack of goodies from the darling that is Lynn. Isn't she just the kindest?! And aren't we so lucky to have 'met' her :D
I've joined in on Tag Tuesday here http://www.tagtuesday.blogspot.co.uk/ because of Lynn's encouragement. There is lots of inspiring work here too (if you didn't already know about it that is) that could help with your ATC's. I bet you'll be great at them looking at what beautiful work you already do. I look forward to coming across your newest creations :D

  61. Hi Mel, me again. Thanks for stopping by mine. You were kind of right about my header - it was neither of those! Haha! It's actually a homage to Roy Orbison I did in a Rock R.I.P circle journal. Not the most obvious choice, granted, But I credit him with my beginnings in loving rock. From him I went to Chris Isaak, to Jace Everett and somehow landed on loving Alice Cooper :D

  62. Your desk is just awesome. Your SIL definitely knows the way to your heart!!! LOL
I saw the tag you made with all your mail goodies...Lovely!

  63. Great to get space to work which you don't have to clear for lunchtime. I am, like you, not used to doing ATC's, so I am having to think differently. I do do small cards occasionally, so I suppose it is a similar idea. Thank you for your visit and kind comments. have a good week. xx Maggie #93
